2020-2021 Esports

Call of Duty

Diamond Gaming will be participating in Call of Duty Challengers for the 2nd consecutive year! We are unsure at this very time, who will be competing under the Diamond Gaming brand as negotiations are being talked with former players and a few new teams entering the challenger scene this season. As of today, 26 October 2020 we have not signed a permanant team or an Academy team for the season to compete across North America. We are looking to add something new this season with Diamond Gaming Europe and have a team competing in EU Challengers. Once we get more details, we will post on the org twitter!

We will be scouting teams to bring into Diamond Gaming where we can be universal and allow players to compete at the highest level!

We have extended a few offers out to Rogue players to build, lead, and innovate the Diamond Gaming brand into the Rogue Scene! We have not received official word if any of the players are planning to join our brand at this time.

Rocket League

We have signed 3 players to 6 month contracts to compete in the Gametime Circuit! This team will be gauging potential to compete and push the limits to join RCLS!

Gears of War 5 LATAM

Gears of War 5 Season 2 is starting and Diamond Gaming is looking to bring in a Top 10 roster! We hope to help those players get to the Pro Split and Qualify for the Pro League. As we watch the weekly events; we will present offers to teams with No organizational backing to step in and help those players.

We hope we can bring new and exciting titles to our organization as often as we can and as long as we can afford the adventures included with those titles!

Call of Duty: Ishoni LAN Event

Diamond Gaming

We entered the Ishoni LAN Event not favored to win the entire event. We were placed in Pool D alongside notable teams including Sick Six Squad and Shinto Gaming. During the pre-show talking about Pool Play this is what IHoldShift & casters had to say about Diamond Gaming.

Pool D Standings

Team: Record: Map Count: Seed:
Diamond Gaming 5-0 6-0 3
Sick Six Squad 3-2 5-2 10
Shinto Gaming 4-1 6-1 5
Erratic Gaming 2-3 0-4 Eliminated
Savage Horsemen 1-3 0-6 Eliminated
LonRGG 0-5 0-10 Eliminated

We started the day off against LONRGG and made our presence felt quickly by winning Map 1: HP 250-69 and Map 2: 6-4.

After a long break waiting for Match 2 of Pool D, we faced off against Erratic Gaming (0-1) and would decisively take a 2-0 sweep again with Map 1: 250-105 and Map 2: 6-2

We would immediately jump into Match 3 against Savage Horsemen (0-2) and complete a trifecta of sweeps! Map 1: 250-74 and Map 2: 6-1 this would ultimately guarantee Diamond Gaming would advance to Championship Sunday out of Pool D and Eliminating Savage Horsemen from a chance to make it to Sunday.

Match 4 would be a Pool D Battle against Sick Six Squad (2-1) 3rd Seed for a battle in Pool D. We would complete another 2-0 Sweep with Map 1: 250-129 & Map 2: 6-2 and improve to 4-0!

Match 5 would be featured on Main Stage as a Pool D Showdown between Diamond Gaming & Shinto Gaming (4-0) for 1st Place in Pool Play! You can watch the replay below.
